NSS Camp

Day 1
1. Meeting held with headmistress, teachers of middle school, VELLANOOR

2. Inauguration of the camp
Chief guest: vice chairman, VELLANOOR

3. Our NSS volunteers planted 50 saplings in the village

4. Our volunteers taught basic fundamentals of maths and English to the students

5. Serviced the water purifier and made it ready to use for the school students

Day 2
1. Awareness program on HOW TO REACT WHEN A DISASTER OCCUR , executed by 108 team

2. Live demonstration of the first aid equipments available in the ambulance to the students and public

3. Our nss volunteers created awareness to the students on how to use 108 service

4. Our volunteers built a compost pit for dumping biodegradable waste and explained it's importance to adult residents

5. Cleaned the elementary school in the village

Day 3
1. With the help of our CMC technical person Mr. Gnanasekar, volunteers serviced the computers and projector for students use

2. Electrical wiring, cleaning and calibration of lab equipments were done by our volunteers

3. PUTHIYA THALAIMURAI's NAMMAL MUDIYUM TEAM visited the CAMP and delivered an eye opener on "EFFICIENT USE OF ELECTRICAL ENERGY" to our volunteers

4. Based on the knowledge gained, our volunteers conducted a survey in all residents and submitted report on energy consumption of various equipment.

Day 4
1. Tamil Nadu fire service conducted an awareness program on FIRE SAFETY

2. LIVE DEMONSTRATION where made by the firemen to our volunteers, school students and public about using FIRE EXTINGUISHER.

3. Our volunteers explained to the school students various science experiments using multimedia presentation

4. Later in the evening, our volunteers conducted various sports competitions for the school students

Day 5
1. Our volunteers were given an lecture on IMPORTANCE OF ORGANIC FARMING AND FOOD SAFETY by Mr.Sundarrajan and also demonstrated how to grow vegetables for our own use

2. Dr. PALANI, PROFESSOR/ Dept. Of mechanical, delivered a multimedia presentation on the topic "HOW TO LEAD A SUCCESSFUL LIFE" to the school students

3. Dr. Sangeetha, prof. / Dept of mathematics and Ms. Kavya santoshi, AP/ Dept of EEE, conducted a awareness session on "HYGIENE AND SANITATION" to the school girl students

4. Mr. Suresh AP/ DEPT. OF CIVIL, delivered a speech on IMPORTANCE OF PRACTICE ORIENTED EDUCATION to the school students

5. Our physical director gave volleyball training to the school students and conducted match for them
